All Industries

When handling hazardous substances in production processes of any kind, attention must be focused to the following points:

  • Protection of Operator

In general industry accordingly it must always be taken care of that the respectively required MAK level (= Maximum Workplace Concentration) of a particular substance is not exceeded at any time.
The permitted max. value is based on an operator working 8-hours a day a lifetime long, even for women in child bearing age.

The contamination of personnel with hazardous substances can happen through the lungs and by the contact through the skin. The greatest danger is the inhalation of PM2.5 dusts, as these can penetrate deeply into the lungs and change the blood values of an operator.

When dealing with hazardous to health substance in production, it is utmost important to collect the dusts at its source, before it is spread in the production machine and the room.

Furthermore, air management in production machines and rooms is of greatest importance alike.

By OEB testing the reached OEB level can be proven and validated.

  • Protection of Environment

In order to protect the environment effectively, it must be made sure, that

    • no inhalable dusts PM2.5 and
    • no hazardous substances of any kind

are getting in to the atmosphere.

By the use of a 2-stage self-cleaning HEPA filter unit with individual police filters in each module, and DEHS measuring lances to detect the actual filter efficiency of H14 EN 1822, a contamination of the environment is prevented effectively.

Nuclear industry

Dealing with radioactively charged dusts, the highest possible technical safety devices are required for:

  • the effective dust collection of all kind of dusts,
  • highest possible filter efficiency at all times and
  • recovered dust and HEPA filter cassette disposal.

As the Containment Technology HEPA filter system is originated in nuclear industry since more than 45 years ago, and the safety standard of the system has been continuously improved until today, it is highly suited to deal with radiatively charged dusts today.
